Taste of Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls and Hwange

• Day 1:

  Upon arrival into Zimbabwe, you will be met at Victoria Falls Airport by the transfer company representative who will be waiting in the Arrivals Hall with your name on a sign. You will be transferred to Batonka Guest Lodge.

  Settle in at your lodge and enjoy an evening of leisure.

• Day 2:

  Your day is at leisure to enjoy Batonka Guest Lodge.

  There are many activities available in Victoria Falls and we are happy to provide you with details and book these. We recommend a sunset river cruise, helicopter flight over the Falls and, of course, seeing the Falls themselves. You do not need a guide to do so as the paths are clear and well signposted, but we are happy to arrange one for you. Lunch at The Lookout Cafe is a great way to finish as it has spectacular views over the gorge.

• Day 3:

  Today, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Hwange. On arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to camp. 

  Hwange National Park is one of Africa's finest havens for wildlife and is home to vast herds of elephant, buffalo, and zebra and has a very large concentration of giraffe. It is also home to many predators and endangered species plus varied birdlife.  Your activities here will include game drives and walks with the experienced guides. Somalisa Expeditions is located on a private concession within Hwange and is part of an area known for its exceptional game viewing. 

  This afternoon you can partake in an optional game drive if time allows.

• Day 4:

  The day is spent on safari in Hwange National Park and exploring this wildlife rich area.

  Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Somalisa Expeditions.

• Day 5:

  You have another full day for safari to explore this vast wilderness on a game drive or enjoy some relaxation at the camp.

  Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Somalisa Expeditions.

• Day 6:

  After breakfast and one last game drive, you will be transferred from the camp for your flight to Victoria Falls airport.
